Garnier Nutritioniste: Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller

I recently purchased the Garnier Nutritioniste: Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller.
This product claims to Decongest Puffiness, Diminish Dark Circles, as well as Refresh/Hydrate the delicate eye area.   It contains Caffeine, and Pro Vitamin B5.
-Dermatologist tested
-Ophthalmologist tested
-Oil Free
-Gentle to the skin
-Allergy tested
-Non Greasy

Directions: Gently roll the Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller under the eye from the inner corner to the outer corner, one to two times. Use finger to smooth in any excess until absorbed. Apply morning and as needed throughout the day.

This cool, refreshingly light gel is immediately absorbed without leaving a greasy or sticky feel. It is oil free and an excellent base for makeup.

"While you sleep, circulation slows down and causes fluids to collect in your lower eye area.  Dark circles and puffiness appear.  The Skin Renew Anti Puff Eye Roller gently stimulate micro circulation around the skin's delicate eye area to decongest excess fluid for diminished dark circles and puffiness.

After use, eyes will instantly look renewed and refreshed.  In 1 week: under eye puffiness is reduced and women saw dark circles diminished.  With continued use, the severity of puffiness is further reduced and dark circles stay minimized."

I'm totally excited to see my results with this product. So far I just rolled this product a few time as directed, and I felt a cooling sensation under my eyes which was very calming.  I have really horrible dark circles and baggy eyes, which makes me look tired all the time.  I can't tell if it's working or not yet.
It'll be nice to put less concealer under my eyes if this product works.  I will definitely update you guys on how this works.  Or  if you have any feedback on this product already, please let me know!
Also....while I was debating on buying this product at the store, I saw that they also have the Skin Renew with a light tint of color for concealing. I didn't buy it because I wanted to see if this product really works, and plus why would I buy that one if I have my own concealers already.  Well, we shall see how this goes. (^__^)

Lancome's Color Design Lipstick

One of my favorite lipsticks beside Guerlain's Kiss Kiss Baby Lip Balm, is Lancome's Color Design Lipstick - and currently in the color Poodle Skirt (Metallic).  It's a soft metallic slightly bright pink, and I find it so pretty and fun to wear.  The color on the lipstick goes on actually on a lighter note and has the right amount of shimmers.  If you like matte colors, this particular color is not for you - however I believe this line does carry matte colors.  It glides on easily and is not sticky, I think the staying power is pretty good.  This color is really fun for going out and for parties.  I really do like Lancome's Color Design Lipsticks, and the line offers plenty of trendy and beautiful colors of your liking.

Seychelles + Guerlain

Hello Everyone~

Hope you're having a spectacular week.  Just wanted to show you what I picked up recently and is extremely excited about..

Trendy, and yet elegant Seychelles Boots that I'm loving at this moment.

The Guerlain Kiss Kiss Baby Nourishing Lip Balm in 220 Red Nude
As you can see it's a very sheer luminescent & sparkly red
***UPDATE*** This has got to my favorite lippie =) It's incredibly nourishing and smooth with a hint of color.  This is definitely a repurchase for me and I can't wait to collect the other colors that are offered.  A real "pick me up" every time I use it because it's so beautiful.  The only downside is that it's pricey...but then again, it's a luxurious lippie and I love the packaging and everything about it! 5/5

May Peace Prevail On Earth....Let's Pray for Japan.

An old photo found in my Japan travels album...
As the world saw what had happened to Japan a couple of days ago.  I still don't know how to make of it.  The images of the damage from the 8.9 quake, and tsunami are so outrageous that I cannot even begin to wonder how everyone is coping in Japan.  Especially now with the uncertainty of what may happen to the affected nuclear plants on top of rolling black outs.
I was thinking the least I can do is to make a donation to the American Red Cross.  Hoping every little bit counts.  My prayers are with Japan.

Some Hair Styles From Blenda Magazine

I sometimes dread going to the salon and getting my hair styled/trimmed. For one, I'm not really fond of staying in the salon for more than an hour, and I always fall from expectations of having the haircut and style that I absolutely like.

Anyways, so I've been doing some spring cleaning and found some old Japanese fashion magazines hoping to find some inspiration. Was looking through some pages and found some hair styles. Here are some pictures from Blenda magazine- 08/2009 issue (wow...that long ago??)
Hope you guys like it since it's hard finding pictures of hairstyles at a 360 angle.

Glimpse of my Life

Meet baby Moshi.  He's a Maltese+Pomeranian who loves to surf the net =)
And when he's not surfing the net, he likes to wander around like a cat.
For lunch today, I had "high class" chips made in Japan.
There was a mixture of corn chips and potato chips, cheese & garlic flavor.  It was more interesting to look at than to munch on. hehe

Hope you enjoyed my randomness =D

Review - Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream

The idea of a cream acting as a foundation, UV blocker, as well as having healing properties is a dream come true.  I was so compelled to try the raved about, "blemish balm" creams, aka bb cream - and decided to try Missha's M Perfect Cover BB Cream.
The coverage is great on this product and it really does give that flawless look which I adore.  The consistency and texture is very thick so a little goes a long way.  I believe there are two color tones available No. 21 Light Beige, and No. 23 Natural Beige.  The spf is an unbelievable 42, and the best part of it all is that this formula is packaged with a pump.  I extremely love Missha's packaging on this product.
USE: I apply this normally like a foundation cream before applying make up.
Results: The product does give the skin great coverage.  The tone of the product gives an ashy-gray tone but I don't mind it and is very lasting.  The one thing I do mind, however, is it broke me out.  Each and every time I used this BB Cream....a few acne appeared the next day.
I was saddened to know that I cannot use this product.  If it wasn't for me breaking out I'd give this product 3/5 for it's multifunctional use and great coverage.
Unfortunately I am no longer using this product and will venture out on a new bb cream to try.

Review: Imju Fiberwig Mascara

Imju's Fiberwig Mascara, a product from Japan, has got to be one of my favorite mascaras.
I have been using this product for a few years now, and I can say that the "fibers" inside this formula really does lengthen the eyelashes.  After a few strokes of the mascara I can see my lashes appearing longer, and most importantly - natural.
Depending on how many times the mascara is applied, the fibers keeps adding on one another, thus creating more length on the eyelashes.  Removal of the mascara is also easy as well.    I would give this product a 4.5/5.

I Love H81

Do you normally have a favorite piece of clothing that you like to wear often for a period of time?  As for me, I normally don't have a preference or a "go to" top or bottom.  I like my closet and its entirety as is.  However, I recently bought a knit sweater top from Forever 21 from their Heritage 1981 line, and I love it.  It's so light feeling, and can be used for layering without feeling too puffy from wearing too much clothing.  It's also versatile enough to be either casual or dressy.

Oh well... thought I'd share this moment with you.  I'm really into white and gray at this moment. =)

Jeans...my dear

If you look in the closet of any modern day woman, you will eventually find jeans.  Be it a casual day, a trendy day, sophisticated day, or any day. You really can't go wrong with having a pair of nice jeans to go with any styled top.  I would say it's like the color black, it can't really go out of style.  Jeans are way too multifunctional.  The styles are endless, but I prefer my jeans straight and not too skinny.  "Destroyed" jeans give too much of a "bummy" look, while the "Crop" styled jeans are not suited for everyone because it can flatter or unflatter your legs.  So with all the styles and trends out there, I rather stick with classic jeans that can be kept for years to come without feeling "out of style" if you know what I mean.

Check out Abercrombie & Fitch and you'll notice that they are having a 30% off sale on most of their jeans.  I'm not sure how long this offer is going to last, but I'm going to take my pick right about now....
