My Beauty Diary & Philosophy's -on a clear day-

This store that I visited was having a sale on the My Beauty Diary Masks. So I decided to stock up on these. I use these masks pretty infrequently, but I do however like these a lot. The reason being is that it can be quite pricey if used daily because there aren't a lot in one box. One box would probably equate to a little more than a week.  So can you imagine? (If you don't know what these masks are - - they come in individually wrapped packets within the box and the sheet masks are soaked in essence good for the skin).
I don't feel the urgency for it being used daily. To me, it's a great "pick me up" for the skin when you feel the need for extra pampering or prepping for the night out, because the result is instantly gratifying.  I leave the mask on for about forty five minutes, even though the direction says fifteen minutes is enough.

So this time around I chose these three line of products:

Lately I've been experiencing blemishes again...sighs...
I'm always on a look out to find new spot treatments, and this time I decided to try Philosophy's -on a clear day- oil free spot treatment.

I used this a few times already and I'm fairly happy with the result.  It states that the product contains sulfur to penetrate the pores and eliminate blemishes, and absorb excess surface oil.  Also oligopeptide-10 to gently and effectively reduce acne causing bacteria. 

The application of this product was fine and what I like about it is that after applying it, it dries up and becomes almost invisible.  Which means you can use this during the day time.  The only downside I see right now is the smell.  I really don't like the smell of sulfur.  Other than that I'm happy with it for now.

Okay so I bit the bullet and finally bought the Urban Decay - Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette.  I've been lusting over this product for a few months now (ever since it came out).  Currently, it's only sold online until the end of January at Sephora.  I tried justifying to myself why I really don't need it.  But in the end, I couldn't resist.  These eyeshadow colors are too pretty and my beauty motto is "always keep it natural."  You really can't go wrong with these shades.  They come in matte, shimmer, and glitter textures.  It's perfect for any occasion, and great when traveling.

There are 12 colors in the palette, and it comes with a "Lip Junkie" which is a cooling and plumping lip gloss & a double ended crease & shadow brush.  There's also a mirror inside the palette for easy application.

The packaging of this palette is marvelous.  The material feels of superior quality, so when I hold it it's very sturdy and easy to handle.  I haven't used the shadows yet so I can't give you a swatch. I'm like this with anything new that I love..I just need to marvel at it for a few days before I use it. <3

I don't find going to the supermarket a chore at all.  In fact, it's one of my fave things to do.  Let's see...what shall I pick up today? We'll start off with some fruits and veggies...

While growing up..I never really enjoyed eating daikon.  Something about the smell and flavor...it was too harsh of a taste for me.  However, lately I've been finding myself incorporating them into my diet.  I'm finding them rather tasty now if cooked right.  Is this what you call a growing palate? 

As part of a healthy diet, I enjoy having a great bowl of tasty asian oatmeal in the morning.  Green Max is my favorite brand.  Whichever flavor shall I pick??

I love shabu shabu..and I take forever in the sauce section just discovering new and interesting sauce mixes.

As much as I try to keep a healthy diet. I don't think I can ever be without ramen.  I know, I know..the high sodium content, the high preservatives, etc. But it's fast easy and tasty..moderation is key.

Can you tell I'm in an asian supermarket? I grew up drinking Vitasoy. I still do now.  It's one of my favorite comfort foods/snacks.

I always try to have Horizon Milk in the fridge.  Milk is a must for females! Your hair, nails, and bones will thank you.

Part of my diet also focuses in on rebalancing my body with herbal health drinks ("leurng cha").  It combats the internal "heat" in the body especially when hot/spicy foods are consumed.
