Tim Burton Exhibit at LACMA

Hi Everyone!

Hope all is well.  It's been a busy weekend.  I finally made my way over to LACMA for the Tim Burton exhibit.  It's only here from May 29th -Oct 31, 2011. So if you're in the LA area, it's a definite place to stop by.

The exhibition showcases "a collection of 700 drawings, paintings, photographs, moving-image works, storyboards, puppets, concept artworks, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera, including art from a number of unrealized and little-known personal projects."

We spent a really nice afternoon at the museum, and I had a lot of fun.  Here are some pictures of the day:

The weather was so nice that day.

Urban Lights

Edward Sissorhands is probably one of my favorite characters of all time.  The exhibit also showcases a detailed written outline of Edward Sissorhands' character traits. I didn't know he wanted to go to the Caribbeans for vacation!

The actual costume of Edward Sissorhands!!

Works from Batman.

There was a darkroom exhibit too.  Can it get any cooler?

Another one of my favs...Corpse Bride.
